Uni Notes Week 11

The Brewers wore throwbacks last week Friday and while they even had correct colored dugout gear and throwback logo'd batting helmets, not one guy that played wore period appropriate hosiery. Not one high sock was found outside the bullpen and thanks to Narveson's long start, there was no need for any of the high hosed relievers in the bullpen. A disappointing showing -

Saturday the Timber Rattlers held their annual Star Wars night. This year's jerseys were themed to look like Storm Troopers, so they were rather subtle. Go check out this blog for more pictures of folks dressed in Star Wars costumes.

With the addition of David Riske and Chris Smith, the pitching staff has become a high hose lover's paradise. John Axford, Zach Braddock, Manny Parra, Dave Bush, David Riske, Chris Capuano and Chris Smith all wear high socks.
