Alcides, who was back to high hose this past Sunday, was conspicuously low-legged for Friday's throwback game. How disappointing.
Seattle joined in the throwback effort and even had throwback batting helmets with an awesome logo.
These were not the pinstripes the Brewers have worn in past seasons. These featured pullover jerseys and elastic, snap closure waists. However, the Nike swoosh at everyone's neckline ruined the look just a little.

I was in Denver for the series last weekend and watched Lucroy warm up in the bullpen on Friday and noticed he wears what appears to be a batting glove inside his catchers mitt. I'm not sure if this is something all catchers do, but it sure seemed unusual.
I took a cell phone picture in Denver of David Riske and Chris Capuano during BP with long pants. Apparently they are only high cuffed during actual games.
