This game drove home the age old adage, "Something, something, something, the Brewers lose in 11".

The game started with a lead-off HR from Weeks, and ended with the Brewers 11 games out of first place, and only a loss by both the Astros and D-backs from being in the NL cellar.

After Weeks led off the game with a HR, the Cardinals touched Brewer starter Chris Narveson for 4 runs in their half of the 1st, powered by a A. Pujols 2 run HR. Narveson got things under control, getting the Brewers to the 7th inning without allowing another run, even though he doled out five walks.

In their half of the 6th inning, the Brewers tied the game 4-4 with the help of a double by Casey McGehee. The game remained tied until the 11th inning, when stupid Colby Rasmus drove in stupid Aaron Miles to win the game for the Cardinals. John Axford got the loss for the Brewers after Kameron Loe, and Carlos Villanueva combined for 3 scoreless innings.

Cardinal fans seem to be getting chunkier this year.
