Let's just make this quick:

  • Randy Wolf was ok through four innings, allowing three runs. In the bottom of the fourth he hit a two run double to tie the game at 3. Then, in the top of the fifth he allowed the Cubs to score five runs, including home runs for Derrek Lee, Marlon Byrd and Geovany Soto. All told, Wolf allowed five home runs in the game, tying a franchise record.
  • Craig Counsell batted leadoff for the first time this season and went 2-for-4 with a walk.
  • Rickie Weeks batted #2 and went 1-for-4 with a HBP, his second in two days.
  • David Riske made his 2010 debut in the game, pitching a perfect seventh inning. Chris Smith also debuted, pitching 1.1 scoreless innings.
