Picthing matchups, lineups, and more after the jump.

Chris Capuano (0-1, 4.35 ERA) will be making a spot start for the Crew tonight. Cappy has been used almost exclusively in mop-up duty out of the bullpen since his return to the majors. He also hasn't pitched more than 1.1 innings since his first appearance back on June 3rd against the Marlins where he picthed 3.2 innings, so he probably won't be able to go more than 4 or 5 innings. His perihperals are all right around his career norms but he has also been rather unlucky, with a .417 BABIP. In his career against the Bucs, Cappy is 2-6 with a 6.34 ERA. Only Ronny Cedeno has faced Capuano more than 10 times; he's hiting .133/.133/.200 in 15 ABs against.

He'll be facing Jeff Karstens (2-4, 4.87 ERA), who has one of the worst official pictures (is that what they're called, because I don't really know) that I've ever seen. We all know the history between Karstens, Dave Kerwin, and the Brewers. Hopefully we will be able to avoid any more plunkings today, because head-hunting and the bickering it causes just isn't cool. Karsten's last start was also against the Brewers, a loss in which he walked 6 in 5 innings. That outing was rather uncharacteristic of Karstens, who only walks about 2.5 batters per 9 innings this year. He may not walk many, but he gives up plenty of hits, almost 11 per 9 innings this year. In his career against the Brewers, Karstens is 0-2 with a 4.01 ERA. Five brewers have faced Karstens more than 10 times.
