All sorts of funny business after the jump.

Manny Parra (LHP), will get the start tonight for the Brewers. Manny got a no-decision in his last start against the Astros, as he left the game leading 5-2, and then the Brewers bullpen showed up. Chris Carpenter on the other hand has been pretty efficient at racking up wins for the Cards. Over the last 12 months Carpenter is 21-2 in 34 starts with the Cardinals, with St. Louis winning 26 of those games.

The next homerun that the Brewers hit in 2010 will be their 100th of the season. Prince Fielder and Corey Hart, both with 18 homeruns on the season, lead the NL in most HR's hit by a duo. Corey Hart also extended his hitting streak to 17 games last night, and became the 5th Brewer to have at least 2 hitting streaks of 17 or more games in his tenure as a Brewer.

Last night Trevor Hoffman pitched in his 1,011th MLB game in his long career. That moved him past Roberto Hernandez into 11th place all time. Hoffy needs to appear in 12 more games this year, to leap over Jose Mesa and Lee Smith into 9th place.

Speaking of Richard Weeks, Weeks is now leading MLB in HR's and RBIs from the leadoff position.
