If I was a Giants fan I would say that Jonathan Sanchez bent but did not break. But I'm not a Giants fan, and the Brewers were just plain God-awful with runners in scoring postion today.

The Brewers scored their only run on a bases loaded walk to Rickie Weeks. It stayed that way until the 6th inning when the Giants tied it with a run off Dave Bush. The game turned in the seventh when the Giants got 4 runs (2 ER) off Kameron Loe. Loe could have escaped the inning without any damage had it not been for an Alcides Escobar error. With two on and one out, Loe induced a ground ball to Esky, which could have been a double play to end the inning. But Escobar bobbled it and allowed the Giants to keep the inning alive.

Not that the entire game is Esky's fault. The Brewers had several chances to knock Jonathan Sanchez out of the game early but could never get that big hit. Sanchez gave up 5 hits and 6 walks in his six innings of work but managed to keep the Brewers from scoring over and over again.

Dave Bush pitched pretty well today, allowing just the one run on 5 hits and 1 walk. David Riske gave up a home run to Buster Posey for the Giants final run and Chris capuano pitched a scoreless ninth inning.

Corey Hart also collected two hits today, extending his hitting streak to 20 games.
