Let's try to put last night behind us.
More info on game two after the jump.
Manny Parra (3-9, 5.67 ERA) will be starting for the Brewers tonight. Parra, well... he hasn't been very good this year, although he has been better than last year. His K/9 are up this year from 7.5 to 9.1, his BB/9 are down from 5.0 to 4.3 and his H/9 are also down from 11.5 to 10.8. He's also been even unluckier this year than he was last year; his BABIP is up from .353 to .361. I guess that means that we can't give up on him yet. The good news is that Parra is 1-0 with a .86 ERA against Arizona. Only Justin Upton has faced Manny Parra at least 10 times; he does not have a hit but he does have two walks and an RBI.
Parra will be facing Barry Enright (3-2, 2.81 ERA). The D-Backs took the 24-year-old lefty in the second round of the 2007 draft. He was on his second tour of AA this season when the D-Backs called him up. His numbers in the minors were solid across the board: a 1.252 WHIP, 7.3 K/9inn, and only 1.9 BB.9 inn. His numbers through seven major league starts this season are pretty similar to his minor league numbers, altough he has been a little lucky, with a .275 BABIP. No Brewer has ever faced Enright.
