Let's help the Reds stay in first place!
The usual after the jump.
Dave Bush (5-10, 4.78 ERA) will be starting for the Brewers tonight. You might remember Bush's last start, because the history books certainly will. You know, the start were he gave up four straight home runs to the D-Backs. These rough starts for Bush have been a sort of trend for him lately. After lowering his season ERA to 4.05 on July 15th, it has gone up after almost every start since. But on the plus side, he's only hit 4 batters this season. Overall in his career against the Cardinals, Bush is 2-6 with a 6.40 ERA. 9 Cardinals have faced Bush at least 10 times:

Bush will be facing Jaime Garcia (10-5, 2.71 ERA), who has been pretty damn good this year. His only problem this year has been convincing TLR to let him pitch past the 5th or 6th inning. Garcia hasn't pitched more than 6 innings in his last three starts and has pitched only 5.1 and 5 innings in his last two starts, with his pitch counts hovering in between the mid eighties and mid nineties. Much like Dave Bush, Garcia's ERA is also on an upward trend. On July 2nd his ERA stood at 2.10 and it has risen in almost every start since. In his brief career against the Brewers, Garcia is 2-0 with a 2.70 ERA. Three Brewers have faced Garcia at least 10 times:
