Game two will hopefully be better than game one.
Randy Wolf (10-9, 4.67 ERA) will be on the mound for the Crew tonight, facing his old team. Don't look now, but Wolf has been pretty good lately and his last performance was easily his best as a Brewer, coming within two outs of a complete game shut-out against the Cardinals. Infact, since that rather unforgettable 5.2 inning, 12-run outing against the Pirates on July 21st, Wolf is 3-0 with a 2.65. This newfound effectiveness can probably be somewhat attributed to Wolf limiting his walks. After routinely allowing 3, 4 or 5 walks per start for the majority of the season, Wolf hasn't allowed more that 1 free pass in four of his five last starts. In his career against the Dodgers, Wolf is 3-2 with a 3.39 ERA. Three Dodgers have faced Wolf at least 10 times.

Wolf will be taking on Hiroki Kuroda (8-11, 3.48). Kuroda has been just as good as Wolf lately, allowing only 3 runs over his last two starts and earning a coveted quality start in 6 of his last 7 starts. He also hasn't allowed more than two walks in any start since June. Kuroda gives up plenty of hits (8.8/9 inn), but does a pretty good job limiting his walks (2.3/9 inn). In his career against the Brewers, Kuroda is 1-0 with a 7.36 ERA. No Brewer has faced Kuroda at least 10 times.
