Another blown day for the Milwaukee Brewers, as they are defeated by the Los Angeles Dodgers. Their best chance to win was in the bottom of the fifth after Carlos Monasterios walked Gallardo and hit two batters in a row to load the bases. Ronald Belisario and George Sherrill got the Dodgers out of that jam. Monasterios being lifted with less than 5IP led to the weirdness of Belisario getting the W for striking out 1 batter.
As noted by the hit batsmen mention in the previous paragraph, Rickie Weeks was hit twice during this game. I'm beginning to think that Weeks has some sort of strange ball magnetism about him.
I admit to being wrong about Manny Parra getting to appear in a game so soon, as he pitched the 9th inning. Thankfully, he did no damage.
