The Brewers weren't shut out by a pitcher making his major league debut, yay! They got a run in the first with an RBI single from Casey McGehee and tacked on single runs in the third, fourth, and seventh. Ryan Braun collected three hits and Prince Fielder also had two hits, all singles. Chris Narveson extended his hitting streak to three games with an RBI single in the fourth. Corey Hart and Jim Edmonds were the only starters to not collect a hit.

Chris Narveson started the game for the Crew and pitched pretty decently. Because of Macha's early hook, he onlt made it through 5.2 innings, but he allowed only 1 run. Todd Coffey came in and allowed a solo homer to Kosuke Fukudome in his .2 innings pitched. Zach Braddock pitched a scoreless .1 inning and was followed by Kameron Loe who decided to make things interesting. He let the first two batters reach in the bottom on the eighth but was able to retire the next three. John Axford came on for the save and alowed a run but nothing else. He got a little help from Starlin Castro and his poor baserunning, who got caught in a pickle after driving in Mike Fontenot.
