Lots of home runs today, including two 2-run shots by Braun, Lorenzo Cain's first career homer, and what will probably be Prince Fielder's last home run as a Brewer in Miller Park.
Chris Capuano pitched 6 innings today allowing only 1 ER, but exited in the seventh before throwing a pitch. No elbow problems though, just groin tightness, something that has apparently been bothering him for a long time.
Prince Fielder was replaced by a pinch-runner in the bottom of the eighth and got a standing ovation from the fans, and an eventual curtain call. I'm gonna miss the big guy.
The fans also got one more treat, as Trevor Hoffman came out to pitch the ninth, for what might be the final Hell's Bells.
See you next year, Miller Park.
