Now that the Brewer offseason is underway, it's time to bring back one of our longest-running BCB offseason series: the Thursday Thinker. Each week about this time we'll post a new Brewer-related Sporcle quiz for your enjoy, get frustrated by or simply scroll past.

I know we all hoped we'd be watching John Axford save games in the World Series at this point, but the Brewers' elimination doesn't change the fact that he had a pretty great season in his first full year as the Brewers' closer.

On top of leading the NL with 46 saves and setting a franchise record with 43 in a row, Axford became just the seventh pitcher in franchise history (and only the third since 1981) to pitch at least 70 innings in a season as a Brewer and post an ERA under 2.00. How many of them can you name in three minutes?

The rules remain the same: Post your score in the comments but do not comment on any specific answer until after 6 pm Central time, so everyone gets a chance to try it out without having it spoiled for them. And, of course, there's no reason to cheat here, because there aren't any prizes.

For many of you this quiz is going to be pretty challenging, but someone probably will get all of the answers. If it's you, post your time along with your score.

Have fun, and don't forget to post your score in the comments!
