Yuniesky Betancourt, Craig Counsell, Prince Fielder, Jerry Hairston Jr., LaTroy Hawkins, Mark Kotsay, Francisco Rodriguez and Takashi Saito all have their paperwork in. For the most part, this isn't a surprise. It would have been bigger news if any of the Brewers' potential free agents had chosen not to file for some reason. The only name on the list that caught my eye is Yuni: The Brewers still have a club option to bring him back for 2012. The fact that he filed for free agency could imply he knows something we don't. Or it could mean he's just covering his bases in case the Brewers decline the option. (h/t MLBTR)
