This is the third post in a four day giveaway countdown to spring training. If you weren't around over the weekend, you might have missed the posts on John Sickels' Prospect Book 2011 and the Huntsville Stars. Follow those links to sign up for the giveaways.
We're just two days away from pitchers and catchers reporting to Maryvale and it's time to unveil our next giveaway, courtesy of the Nashville Sounds!
2011 will be the Sounds' seventh season as the Brewers' AAA affiliate. Arguably the biggest star to pass through Nashville in the Brewer era did so in their first season: Prince Fielder played in 103 games for the 2005 Sounds, hitting .291/.388/.569 with 28 home runs.
Last season the Sounds gave away Prince Fielder bobbleheads...and odds are, most of you didn't have a chance to get one. Today, we fix that: Michael Whitty and the Sounds have given me two Fielder bobbleheads to give away to two lucky readers, along with two 2010 souvenir programs and card sets from the 2009 and 2010 seasons.
To be entered to win, all you have to do is comment on this post. I'll leave comments open until 6 pm Central time on Wednesday, then pick two winners to receive prize packages.
Good luck, and thanks again to Michael Whitty and the Nashville Sounds for making this giveaway possible!
