Game Thread #9: Cubs (4-3) at Brewers (3-5)

The game is actually on FSN! In fact, the next three games are on FSN! It didn't seems like we would get a stretch like that all season!

The televised Brewers will be taking on the Cubs in the second game of their series hoping to redeem themselves after yesterday's loss.

Follow the jump for discussion on today's game.

Matt Garza had a good first outing as a Cub, going seven innings and striking out twelve batters. He didn't walk anybody, but he did allow 12 hits and three earned runs. Over his career, he has struck out 7.2 batters per nine innings, so I wouldn't expect him to continue in the double digit Ks.

Chris Narveson also had a very good start to the season, pitching six shutout innings against the Braves. He may only have struck out five, but he also allowed just six baserunners. More of the same from him would be great.
