This game really shows one that the win-loss record means nearly nothing for pitchers; both Aaron Harang and Chris Narveson had excellent pitching performances tonight. Narveson allowed only 5 baserunners in 7.1 innings. It took Marco Estrada less than one to allow 3...but two of them were intentional walks.
There really isn't that much good to say about this game other than what Narveson's been doing lately. The Brewers had runners in scoring position 5 times but failed to capitalize on any of them. Even worse, Ryan Braun left the game in the 7th inning due to an injured shoulder and Jonathan Lucroy had a close call on the basepaths in the top of the 9th (he returned to catch the bottom.)
