Minor League Notes, 2011-05-21

Nashville Sounds (AAA) 16-24
Won 5-2 at Salt Lake Bees (LAA) (box / pbp)

Huntsville Stars (AA) 20-21
Won 6-5 vs Montgomery Biscuits (TBR) (box / pbp)

Brevard County Manatees (High A) 15-27
Lost 7-2 at Fort Myers Miracle (MIN) (box / pbp)

Wisconsin Timber Rattlers (Low A) 22-18
Won 4-3 vs Burlington Bees (OAK) (box / pbp)

George Kottaras was pulled in the 3rd inning of last night's game, no reason given. Welcome Dayton Buller to the Minor League Notes: he appears to be a lifetime member of the Brotherhood of Backup Catchers, Minor League Division. ETA: He did start yesterday; Kottaras was supposed to have started but didn't and the box score didn't change the lineup in time. (via brewerfan.net) Buller's still backupish, though.

In my opinion, something is still seriously wrong with Mark Rogers. He's having trouble pitching to Florida State League batters.

Stats and stuff under the jump.
