Sorry this is up so late;  I was originally scheduled to work until 9:00, which would have allowed me to get home right around when the game should have ended to write the recap.  Instead, I was switched to a bar shift (I work in catering [Are we having fun yet?]) for a event where two new people took over food stuff.  The end result: Me getting off nearly two hours later than I should have.  But enough about me, what about the Brewers?

Shaun Marcum was, of course, brilliant, going eight innings and allowing just one run and 6 hits + walks.  That eight innings allowed the bullpen to be rested following last nights extra inning game and allowed Tim Dillard to get to the patent office in time to patent his new invisibility potion.  Yay!

John Axford was required to pitch the ninth and game up one run.  Oh no!

Jonathan Lucroy hit a solo homer and Prince Fielder reached base three times, scored a run, and drove a run in.  Yay!

Ryan Braun got a hit, but struck out three times.  Oh no!

There is approximately one hour and sixteen minutes (central time) and the world still has not succumbed to the rapture.  Yay!

The Brewers go for the sweep tomorrow at 1:10!  Yay!

And I would be remiss to not mention the Brewers are back to .500 which awwwwwww yeeeeaaah!
