Only six more wins to go until we get our free burger from Webb's

Zack Greinke started for the Crew today and looked much more like the Zack Greinke we traded for. Greinke was excellent through the first three innings, allowing the Crew to take a three-run lead on a 2-RBI double from Prince Fielder and a sac fly from the Prince.

Greinke's only mistake of the day came in the fourth inning when he gave up a 3-run homer to Michael Morse, who is really starting to annoy me. Other than that, Zack was golden. He walked only 1 and struck out 10 Nats over 7 innings. He even hit a home run; a solo shot that he just tucked in the left field foul pole, to give the Brewers a 4-3 lead.

The Crew was able to tack on another Badger Mutual Insurance Run in the seventh on an RBI single from Fielder. Tha Nationals got one back in the top of the seventh when a Rickie Weeks error allowed Roger Bernadina to reach. Bernadina later scored on Laynce Nix sac fly. But the Crew got the two-run lead back in the bottom of the eighth when Jonathan Lucroy scored on a Yunieskey Betancourt single.

Interestingly, Kameron Loe, who pitched the final out of the eighth inning, came back out for the ninth. Loe retired the side in order for his first save since August 6, 2005.
