One, two doubleheaders today! To make up for this, Brevard County played a shortened game.
Things learnt from Nashville's game: Apparently Mat Gamel hits Seth McClung really well? Also, Takashi Saito has maintained bodily integrity at the time of writing. (By the time I was able to watch the game, McClung was just getting pulled. Then the Brewers game came out of delay, so I stopped watching the Sounds. Dear readers, I am sorry!...about a lot of things, but especially that. I think most of you know why. I missed almost all the Gamel-reaching-base, too, except for the walk.)
Re Huntsville's second game: Great job, winning 3-1 with nobody drawing a walk and with no extra-base hits. It was also yet another illustration of how unearned runs on the pitcher's own error are silly.
Brock Kjeldgaard was defeated in his quest to reach base by the shortened game. If only he had four more innings!
