Win Expectancy Graph and Star of the Game Voting

Hey look, an interleague win!

The Brewers jumped out to an early 2-0 lead tonight but couldn't hold it, as Twins third baseman Danny Valencia hit a three run homer off Randy Wolf to give the Twins back the advantage. The Brewers bounced back, however, as Rickie Weeks singled, Nyjer Morgan singled on a bunt and Prince Fielder doubled to right to score them both and give the Crew a 4-3 lead.

Fielder's double made a winner of Randy Wolf, who had been lifted in favor of a pinch hitter earlier in the inning. Wolf allowed three runs on six hits and three walks over seven innings, striking out five. He threw 103 pitches in the game, and now has a 2.76 ERA in June.

Kameron Loe retired the side in order in the eighth with a pair of strikeouts, and John Axford pitched a perfect ninth to record the save.

Ryan Braun's fifth inning ground rule double to right extended his hitting streak to 15 games. I'll have more on that later.
