(If you're looking for an explanation of Prognostikeggers, check out the Full Rules for Prognostikeggers.)
It ended up being a quieter series for the Prognostikeggers against the Diamondbacks. Predictions were down, but is anyone really surprised by that? It was part of a holiday weekend combined with a bad time for the Brewers. Not a lot to be excited about there. For those of you who kept going, you got a nice chance to add some points to your week and overall totals.
We're going to keep the talk light this week and just jump over to the rest. (Honestly, I could use some ideas on what to talk about. I probably don't need to fill the space, but it would be nice to have something to talk about each series.)
Programming Note for Next Week: Pay attention to the comments this week, as I will announce the plans for the all-star break by the end of the week. The only reason I haven't posted anything now is because I haven't decided yet. I may take that off for a break for myself, but I also may decide to make a special Prognostikeggers for the Home Run Derby and All-Star Game. Official plans will be announced by the end of the game on Sunday. There will be the normal series post for the Rockies series.
Topic for Discussion: How do you break out of a slump here? After you have made a string of bad predictions, what do you do to try and get some points? Do you stick with what you have been doing? Do you make radical changes? Do you start copying other people? How do you break out of it?
