Clearly, the SI Cover Jinx is in full effect.

The Brewers were so distracted by being on the cover of this week's issue of Sports Illustrated that they forgot to score until the second inning tonight. They made up for lost time quickly, though, scoring seven runs on seven hits in the inning and quickly running away with this one.

The Brewers got a great start from Marco Estrada again tonight, saving the bullpen for another day. Estrada pitched seven innings and allowed two runs on seven hits, walking none and striking out two. This is only the second time in his career he's pitched seven innings (the other one was in April).

With the Cardinals getting blown out tonight against the Dodgers, the Brewers are about to open up the first ten game lead in franchise history.
