Prognostikeggers Week 8: Brewers @ Astros

Good morning, everyone.  I apologize if you were looking for a more extensive post, but it's going to be a bit simple today.  Only one big change to note this week.  Prediction forms and summaries will be above the jump instead of below from now on.

Bonus Point Opportunity:  I did this with K-Rod a few weeks ago, and will do it again this week.  This time, it will be based on Craig Counsell.  I know what you're all thinking, that I'm insane for wanting to do this.  However, why not?  Let's get the rooting interest for Craig Counsell pumped up.  He's still a member of the Milwaukee Brewers, and as long as he is, we should want to see his success.

How will this one work?  It's simple.  Make a bonus prediction involving Craig Counsell.  This isn't a separate prediction, it has to be integrated into your normal bonus prediction.  If your prediction is correct, you will get an additional point to the normal points you would get for that prediction.  It doesn't have to be an offensive prediction, it can be defensive as well.  Also, there is no limit this time.  Any number of people can get this bonus point, and can get it once a game.  There are only two rules to getting the bonus point.

#1 - The prediction must normally earn a bonus point.  If it is a zero-point bonus and is correct, you don't get the bonus point either.

#2 - While the simple prediction of Craig Counsell getting a hit is worth 1 point (for now), I'm going to add a condition on getting the extra bonus point with this prediction.  To get the additional bonus point, Craig Counsell cannot be a starter that day.  If Craig Counsell is a starter, you make that prediction, and he gets a hit, you will still get 1 point, but that's all.  However, if he comes in later in the game (as a replacement or PH) and that prediction is correct, you will get the 1 point as usual, plus the additional point.  Beyond that, all other valid predictions should earn the additional point if correct, even if you do something simple like making it "one extra base hit" on a day that he starts.

Extra Prediction for the Series:  I like trying to use as many numbers from the box score as possible.  For this series, we'll use another number from it.  The prediction for this series is the number of total at-bats there will be in the game.  You're probably looking at a number between 50 and 80 at-bats.  You must be within two of the actual number of at-bats (high or low).  If you are, you will score 1 point.  There is no bonus to being exact this week.  (Note that I said at-bats, not plate appearances.)
