Prognostikeggers Playoffs - Semifinals: Rockies @ Brewers

We're getting close to the end. There's only a few weeks to go. The quarterfinals were a bit more definite than the first round, with no ties to break. Here's how the quarterfinals went.

Match #5
Dulzy reasserted dominance in the playoffs with a high-scoring performance in the quarterfinals. After a close start to the match in the first three days, a massive ten-point outburst over the last four days made the match a blowout. Meanwhile, jarlbartar managed to hold off MrLeam and proachinf to claim the other spot in the semifinals. MrLeam and proachinf head down to the 5th place consolation match to fight for their final position.

Match #6
After facing a deficit following the first three games, icecreamman put together a big performance in the Phillies series to make it to the semifinals, which included a three-point bonus prediction hit in Saturday's game. As for the other spot, jimf held off thefreewheelin76 to make it to the semifinals. ObiBraunKenobi fell into a hole early, and just could never recover. For the semifinals, icecreamman and jimf advance, while thefreewheelin76 and ObiBraunKenobi head to the 5th place consolation match.

9th Place Consolation Match #1
There wasn't much competition here. Two people, badgerman59 and brewerspug, just put up major weeks, while toki47 and texwestern checked out after falling from the championship bracket. Both badgerman59 and brewerspug advance to the semfinals in that bracket, while toki47 and texwestern head down to the 13th place consolation bracket.

9th Place Consolation Match #2
MKEtotheATX put up one massive week after falling out of the championship bracket. Meanwhile, ddloml held onto a lead to advance to the semfinals of the consolation bracket. They both advance to the semifinals in that bracket, while philc78 and Officer Jim Lahey head down to the 13th place consolation bracket.

Consolation Match
There's some good fighting going on in this match. Kid19 has the lead after the first two weeks, while Bush League All Star and Michael E1 are staying close. The people that didn't make the playoffs are putting up a big fight.
