Axford, Braun, Fielder, Gallardo or Hairston: Who Will Be Brewer Of The Week?

The Brewers finished off the regular season with a 5-1 week, and did so with some very impressive individual performances. One of these nominees is a clear favorite, but I think a couple of the others would be likely winners too in a different week:

John Axford allowed just one baserunner (a single) while pitching four scoreless innings this week. He struck out five and walked no one while recording three saves and contributing +.181 WPA.

Ryan Braun had a hit in five of the Brewers' six games this week, and five of his seven hits went for extra bases. He also walked three times, stole two bases and was hit by a pitch for a .412/.524/1.000 line and +.731 WPA.

Prince Fielder had hits in all six games this week and has reached base safely in 27 consecutive games. Six of his nine hits went for extra bases and four were home runs, including three hit on Tuesday. He hit .474/.600/1.211 this week and was worth +.868 WPA.

Yovani Gallardo allowed just one run on seven hits over 7.1 innings against the Marlins on Friday, walking none and striking out eleven. He's the only pitcher in Brewer history who's ever posted back-to-back games with eleven K's or more, and now he's done it in three straight starts. He was worth .232 WPA this week.

Jerry Hairston Jr was on base ten times this week with six hits, three walks and a HBP. Three of his hits were doubles, and he scored six runs. He hit .400/.526/.600 this week and was worth +.284 WPA.
