Good morning everyone,
I'm off for most of the day today (Rubie will have the Mug later), but I wanted to stop by to acknowledge a milestone: Sometime late this morning or early this afternoon the 4 millionth visitor is going to stop by this site.
As you might expect with the Crew contending, our readership has picked up a bit this season: In each of the last two years it's taken us twelve months to record a million visits, but this year it's only taken a little more than nine months. We passed three million on December 28, 2010.
Of course, this pace is also helped by the fact that a lot of people produce really great content here (and I write sometimes too). We would not have reached this point without our excellent core of contributors, who help me keep fresh content on the site multiple times daily.
Oh, and you helped too. Thanks for doing what you do, whether it's occasionally stopping by, constantly stopping by, commenting, posting FanPosts and FanShots, following us on Facebook or Twitter, rocking out a BCB t-shirt or anything else. Having this community to work with has been a great thing for me, and it's because you make it that way.
So, keep doing what you do, and I'll keep doing what I do (except for today, when Rubie's in charge).
