Voters: Brewers Should Stick With Two Year Offer For Dempster

85% of voters in this week's Brew Crew Ball Tracking Poll say the Brewers should not offer Ryan Dempster a three year deal.

This week's Brew Crew Ball Tracking Poll was open from noon Monday through Tuesday and received 281 responses. Here are some notable results:

  • 56% of fans say the Brewers can compete in 2013 without making any more additions to the starting rotation, but just 31% think they can without any more bullpen moves.
  • 65% of fans say the Brewers should not exceed a two-year offer to Ryan Dempster. Another 20% think they should take their two-year offer off the table.
  • Voters are split (44% to 43) on whether the Brewers should have offered Brandon McCarthy a bigger contract than what he got from the Diamondbacks.
  • A majority of voters agree that the Brewers should not have exceeded contract offers to Dan Haren, Randy Choate or Sean Burnett.
