After a day off yesterday, two split squad games today should give most of the players a chance to play.

The first of the two games will take place at the Athletics facility in Phoenix. Getting the chance to start today is Michael Fiers (2.64 ERA, 3.41 FIP in Huntsville in 2011; 1.11 ERA, 3.03 FIP in Nashville in 2011; 18.00 ERA, 10.43 FIP in Spring Training). He has had a rough spring so far and projects to start the season in Nashville. Meanwhile, Jarrod Parker (3.79 ERA, 3.70 FIP in Triple-A in 2011; 4.50 ERA, 2.85 FIP in Spring Training) starts for the Athletics. He came to the Athletics in an offseason trade from the Diamondbacks and projects to start the season in Triple-A, but you may remember him from the 2011 Postseason, where he only recorded one out in Game 4 of the NLDS and left after loading the bases.

There is no Brewers coverage for this game, but if you have access to MLB Gameday Audio or the MLB At Bat app, you can stream the Athletics broadcast.

While some players make the fifteen mile drive to the Athletics' facility, the rest will remain behind to face the Mariners at home in Maryvale. Starting for the Brewers today is Zack Greinke (3.83 ERA, 2.92 FIP in 2011; 2.25 ERA, 0.10 FIP in Spring Training). In his first two games, he has been hittable but has also limited the damage, only allowing one run in four innings pitched. On the other side, Hector Noesi (4.47 ERA, 4.09 FIP in 2011; 0.00 ERA, 4.10 FIP in Spring Training) will pitch for the Mariners. Acquired in a trade by the Mariners last season, he mainly pitched in relief for the Yankees in 2011.

The game against the Mariners will be available by radio on WTMJ and the Brewers radio network. Check your local station for details. You can also listen to it through MLB Gameday Audio or the MLB At Bat app.
