On Tap:
The Brewers and Padres continue their series at Petco Park in San Diego tonight at 9:05 p.m. CDT. Shaun Marcum (1-1) will make the start for the Crew. Former Red Edinson Volquez (0-2) is still looking for his first win as a Padre. Hopefully it doesn't come tonight against Milwaukee.
The Astros entertain the New York Mets at Minute Maid Park. Houston will send J.A. Happ (1-1) to the mound. The Mets will counter with Jon Niese (2-0) who looks to maintain his undefeated start to the year. Game time in Houston is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. CDT.
The Cardinals welcome the Pirates to St. Louis to begin a three game series. Game one is set for 7:15 p.m. CDT tonight. Adam Wainwright (0-3) will take the mound for the Cards hoping to pick up his first win on the year. The Pirates will send Charlie Morton (1-1) to the hill looking to keep Wainwright winless and the Cards' bats at bay.
The Cubs are in Cincinnati to begin a three game series against the Reds. The game one pitching matchup will pit Jeff Samardzija (2-1) against Bronson Arroyo (1-0). Game time is scheduled for 6:10 p.m. CDT.
