Prognostikeggers 2012 - Week 5: Brewers vs. Cubs

We're another series closer to the end of the first part of the season.

In the Reds series, icecreamman made a massive run to take the early lead in the week. Trailing behind him is Kyle Lobner and Rabbit915, who are still in striking distance. Moving to the overall standings, the 19 point Reds series gave the overall lead back to icecreamman. The overall race is turning into a two-person race between him and MichaelE1. Will anyone else emerge in the race for the championship?

Extra Prediction for the Series: This series, I'm bringing back the game time prediction. Predict the length of each game in the series. If you are within 10 minutes of the actual time, you will get 1 point. If you are within 5 minutes, you will get 2 points. If you predict the length of the game exactly, you will get 3 points.

Explanation on Denied Bonuses

Zero Brewers get injured this game - I like the optimism, but I can't give out points for a prediction like this.

Brewers win - Same situation, good optimism but I can't award points for it.

A pitcher for either team has a ball get deflected off some part of their body - A requirement for bonuses is that I have to be able to verify them. To make sure this is possible, you should pick a stat that can be verified from nothing more than a box score. With this prediction, I can't verify if it happened or how often it happened in other games, so it's not a valid prediction. (Update: I'm going to look at this one again tonight because some box scores do record it when a pitch is deflected by someone. It's still not a bonus I like because tracking down a point value is difficult, but it would at least be one I could check on.)
