Lost 1-5 Reno Aces (ARI)

Huntsville Stars (AA) 22-16
Won 5-4 vs. Mississippi Braves (ATL)
Lost 0-6 vs. Mississippi Braves (ATL)

Lost 1-2 vs. Daytona Cubs (CHC)

Wisconsin Timber Rattlers (Low-A) 23-15
Lost 2-9 vs. Kane County Cougars (KC)

After a near washout yesterday, in which the Timber Rattlers were the only team to manage to play their game as scheduled, today was back to normal.

The Sounds and Aces split a double-header. Both games were seven inning affairs to make up for yesterday's postponed game.

Making up for yesterday's rain out the Huntsville Stars and Mississippi Braves played a double-header. Both games were scheduled for seven inning affairs. Like their older brother, the Stars also split their double-header.

Daytona scored 2 in the first off starter Jed Bradley. The Manatees responded with a run of their own in the bottom of the inning off of Cubs' starter Austin Kirk.. That would be it for the scoring, as a plethora of relievers for both teams managed to keep the opposing offense off the board for the rest of the game.

Not much good can be said about the Timber Rattlers loss to the Cougars. They did manage to score first to take the lead. Unfortunately scoring first didn't matter today as the Cougars put up crooked numbers in the second, third, and fourth innings to put the game out of reach.

The usual batter/pitcher standouts will not follow today. That doesn't mean that there wasn't anyone having a good day. You can all thank my final exams for having to make a couple of extra clicks to get to the box scores and game recaps.
