Padres 5, Brewers 0: Ron Roenicke's Postgame Comments

As seen on FS Wisconsin:

I didn't hear the first question, but the answer was the understatement of the year:

No, but it's not fun to watch.

On not scoring runs off Jeff Suppan:

Yeah, I was surprised. I think we ought to be scoring runs off everybody. I think Ishikawa had a couple of nice at bats that he squared up and they ended up being two double plays. But they're good at bats. We need to get it going.

On Ryan Braun:

No, he's got a tight Achilles tendon that he felt a little yesterday on his stolen base.

On Yovani Gallardo:

Yeah I think the first three innings, especially the third his command wasn't good. And then I thought the last, actually the last two innings the reason we put him back out there is because we thought he threw the ball well. So hopefully that's a confidence builder for him. He threw some nice changeups today which he hasn't been using much, but the last couple of innings I thought were good.

Was fastball command Gallardo's issue?

Fastball command up in the zone a lot. Curveball command wasn't good. He threw some nice sliders.
