After finishing their series against the Padres in San Diego yesterday the Brewers have an off day today before moving on to the City by the Bay and beginning a series against the Giants.
The Astros also have an off day today coming off a sweep of the Mets. They will look to continue their recent string of success against the Cardinals in a series in Houston beginning tomorrow night.
The Cardinals and Pirates wrap up their series in St. Louis with an afternoon game set to get underway at 12:45 p.m. CDT. Erik Bedard (1-4) will start for the Pirates and Jake Westbrook (3-1) will take the mound for the Cards.
