Prognostikeggers 2012 - Week 10: Brewers @ Royals

Week 9 is done, and it was a fast start to the second part of the season. Bush League All Star and Mike2k33 took the first weekly win of this part of the season, each using solid overall weeks to take the week. It also gave them both the early lead in the overall standings, though the lead is not that big this early in the season.

We're moving on to week 10 now. We'll have another player bonus series coming up this weekend, but first we have the Royals series to get through. There's always time to join in, whether you're competing for the pride of winning the overall standings or just want to get as many prize entries as you can from getting daily wins. Either way, there's plenty of reasons to get involved. Considering how many people are playing Pick 6, you're chances are a little better here (though they're even better if you play both every day).

Extra Prediction for the Series: The prediction for this series will be a little bit of an experiment. We'll see how it plays out. For this series, you will predict what the Brewers batting average as a team will be for just that game. Enter your prediction as a decimal to three places. If you are within 20 points of the actual average, you will get 1 point. If you are within 10 points, you will get 2 points. If you get the actual average, you will get 4 points.

For example, here are the batting averages from each game in the Padres series:

June 8: .313 (10 for 32)
June 9: .242 (8 for 33)
June 10: .207 (6 for 29)
