Ugggh. At least Jim Henderson had a great major league debut, striking out 1 in 1 inning of work. The Brewers' only runs of the game came on a Carlos Gomez home run with 2 outs in the 8th inning. They could have had more runs; there were multiple opportunities against Jackson with 2 on and 2 outs where they just couldn't make anything happen. Even worse than Yovani Gallardo's horrible pitching performance, Tyler Thornburg was lifted in the middle of facing a batter due to an unspecified injury.

The only bright spot: The non-Thornburg parts of the bullpen didn't give up any runs.
