Zack Greinke's Comments To Reporters Following Trade

My time here was a lot of fun. We have a great team, a great group of guys, everyone gets along. It was fun to come to the clubhouse and everyone could still get along when we're not playing good. Most teams when you're not playing good you usually aren't getting along. But here it's a great group of guys.

Reaction to going to the Angels:

It'll be fun. They're a great team. After the first month I think they've been one of the best teams in baseball. There's a lot of talent there and a lot of great players. Good pitching, the pitching staff will be pretty incredible.

On his travel plans:

I'll call the guy pretty soon. I'm going to Anaheim.

Did he talk to his agent?

Yeah, real quick. I guess he called Doug while they were telling me so I talked to him for like a minute.

On contract negotiations not working out:

It's a business decision I guess, is the best way to describe it. That's how baseball is. But I enjoyed it here, they say they enjoyed having me and hopefully the guys they got for me will help out. I know they guys they gave up to Kansas City for me, some of them have turned out pretty good. So hopefully it's the same story here.

Could he come back as a free agent?

I haven't talked about anything going on with free agency but like I said I love it here, so it'll definitely be a possibility.

Is he pitching on Sunday?

I couldn't tell you for sure. I don't know exactly. I'm guessing yes but I don't know for sure.

How does he feel about his 1 1/2 years in Milwaukee?

Yeah, I always feel like I could've done a lot more, especially in the playoffs last year. I guess everyone could do more, but I feel like I'm upset with how that worked out. This year, you could always do more it feels like. But we went pretty far and it was a lot of fun. That's definitely the most fun I've had ever playing baseball.
