Prognostikeggers 2012 - Week 18: Brewers @ Rockies

The first week of the last part of the season is done. With a big series, icecreamman reestablished dominance to start this part out with a big week to take an early lead. Behind him was Kid19 and MichaelE1, who rounded out the top three to start this part of the season. Seven weeks are left in the season. Plenty of time to still get involved in the competition, and it's a good week. The Brewers are in Colorado, which is usually good for offense, which is also good for your predictions. More points are scored during series where the offense is completely alive. Don't let that chance slip away.

Scoring Update from August 7: In the August 7 game against the Reds, the Bernie Brewer Twitter account named a winner for the sausage race, but the announced winner was incorrect. It was actually Polish who won. To be fair for that game, I gave anyone who picked either of those sausages the two points for the game.

I will continue to use that Twitter account for finding the results (unless I actually attend the game, then I'll note it myself), but if the actual results vary from the posted results, let me know. As long as one person backs you up (which is likely since icecreamman is at every game), I'll also give points for that choice. This is all on the honor system here, so please don't take advantage of it.

Extra Prediction for the Series: Predict the total bases for the Brewers in the game. To count total bases, add one for singles, two for doubles, three for triples, and four for home runs. If you are within five total bases of the actual total, you will get one point. If you are exact, you will get two points.
