After a one-week hiatus Justin Hull of AM 1570/95.3 FM The Score in Appleton and I sat down for an hour today to talk all things Brewers and briefly discuss how he's getting too old to handle the rides at Great America. Here are some of the topics we discussed:
- Francisco Rodriguez, the PR aspect of continuing to send him out there and the likelihood that his role gets diminished in the coming months.
- Has Carlos Gomez earned an opportunity to be installed as the full time center fielder?
- Does Norichika Aoki hit enough to justify staying in right field full time, and do the Brewers have enough offense to make up for his shortcomings if he doesn't?
- Should Corey Hart stay at first base?
- Jed Bradley, Taylor Jungmann, Wily Peralta, Mike Fiers, Tyler Thornburg and Mark Rogers and how quickly things change involving pitching prospects.
This week's show has been divided into two parts: Part 1 and Part 2.
I appear on The Home Stretch for an hour each week during the season, usually on Fridays.
