In a game that started nearly 2 and a half hours late, of course it had to turn into both bonus baseball and weird baseball (after midnight. do not feed your relievers after midnight.) Jim Henderson was tonight's designated Reliever Who Gives Up Runs. He walked Matt Carpenter in the 8th and then gave up a home run to Yadier Molina. Brandon Kintzler had to use his escape kit in the 12th after walking 2.

It's been over 5 hours since Yovani Gallardo gave up all the runs he would give up, back in the first inning. Gallardo lasted 6 innings.

The amazing thing was how both teams came close to scoring the winning run multiple times after the second tie. Martin Maldonado's multiple TOOTBLAN incidents didn't help (neither did Jeff Bianchi and Travis Ishikawa's instance of the same) and the rather odd calls of the umpiring team didn't help either. Of course what wins the thing is the solo shot by Ryan Braun in the 13th.
