Prospect ranking season is upon us, and it's your turn to pitch in with an effort to quantify the Brewers' best minor league players heading into the 2013 season.
Our format this season will be roughly identical to what we've done each of the last two years: Each weekday we'll open a poll, with the first five spots in the rankings featuring five candidates and the remaining spots featuring ten. Starting tomorrow, each day I'll remove the previous day's winner an open a new poll. We'll continue until we've selected the top 17, and I'll put the list somewhere for posterity so we can all stop back later and make fun of ourselves.
The existing prospect rankings listed with the candidates represent the following:
- Baseball America's Top 10, which I'll update to their top 30 once it's available.
- Jonathan Mayo of MLB.com's Top 20.
- Marc Hulet of FanGraphs' Top 15.
- John Sickels of Minor League Ball's Top 20.
I'll also add the Baseball Prospectus list once it's released (if I'm reading this right the Brewers are next in line).
