The "I've seen that reliever before" Thursday Thinker

Why are middle relievers so forgettable?

David Banks

My apologies in advance, because this might be the toughest Thinker I've written in quite some time.

Two weeks ago I asked you to name pitchers who had made at least eleven starts against the Brewers since 2007. Last week I followed up with a quiz on the hitters who have faced the Brewers the most often over that same timeframe.

Of course, I can't leave out the relievers. 25 relief pitchers have faced the Brewers at least 25 times since Opening Day 2007. How many can you name in six minutes?

Now that's one forgettable group. The quiz also includes 16 "bonus" answers, players who have made at least 20 relief appearances.

If the quiz isn't displaying correctly for you here or you'd simply prefer to take it over there, follow this link to play the quiz at Sporcle.com.

Please post your score in the comments below, but also remember that comments on this post may contain spoilers. If you get all 12 answers correct, post your time along with your score in the comments.

If you've finished this quiz and would like another challenge, here are this offseason's other Thinkers:

You can also check out the archives for all of last winter's quizzes.

Have fun, and don't forget to post your score in the comments!
