2013 Prospect Rankings: Four Brewers Make John Sickels' Top 150

Minor League Ball has the full list featuring Wily Peralta, Clint Coulter, Victor Roache and Tyler Thornburg.

The Brewers haven't gotten a lot of love in Top 100 prospect lists this winter, but at least now we know that they've got a few players lurking outside the door.

John Sickels of Minor League Ball unveiled his list of baseball's top 150 prospects this morning and four Brewers are featured, but none above 90.

Wily Peralta (#90) is the no-brainer here, as he's been on prospect lists across baseball all winter. This is significantly lower, though, than MLB.com (#64) and Baseball America have him (#69). He was also rated in the top 60 by both BA and MLB.com before the 2012 season.

Clint Coulter (#121) and Victor Roache (#123) are both cases where Sickels is probably higher on a player than we are. We rated Coulter #4 and Roache #7 in the Brewer organization in our Community Prospect Rankings earlier this winter. Sickels says both of them could rank much higher a year from now after their first full pro seasons.

Finally, Tyler Thornburg (#129) also cracked the list. Your opinion on Thornburg probably depends on how important you think his relatively slight stature will be to his long-term development, and whether or not you think he can remain as a starter. Marc Hulet of FanGraphs has him in his Top 100, but BA and MLB.com did not.
