Game Preview/Thread #-27: Brewers vs Angels

Hiram Burgos makes his second start of the spring.

USA TODAY Sports

The Brewers will send Hiram Burgos out to the mound for his second start of Spring Training. His first outing went well except for a two run homer, the only two runs he gave up over 2.2 innings. Burgos had a breakout season in 2012, posting a 1.95 ERA over 27 starts and one relief appearance across three levels. His first two minor League seasons didn't go so hot, so the Brewers will hope he continues on his 2012 track.

He'll take on Angels lefty C.J. Wilson (3.83 ERA, 4.04 FIP), who is making his first appearance in the Cactus League. Wilson is entering the second season of his five-year, $77.5 million contract with the Angels and was an All Star a year ago, posting 200+ innings for the third consecutive season since becoming a starter in 2009.

I'm out of town and haven't seen a lineup.

Meanwhile, in today's least surprising news, the weather in Arizona is nice. Expect a game time temperature in the high 70's with light winds.

Enjoy the game!
