The Brewers didn't show us much tonight, but at least they didn't make us wait.
The two teams combined for just ten baserunners tonight, did not make a single mid-inning pitching change (hear that, Tony LaRussa?) and worked pretty quickly, completing the contest in just 2:15. It was the fastest Brewer game of the season to date by over half an hour.
For context, the Brewers' fastest game in 2012 was 2:19 (also against the Cardinals, actually). Tonight's game was their fastest since September 7, 2011 when they also lost 2-0, also to the Cardinals.
So, enjoy the rest of your evening, I guess.
