For the second straight night, the Brewers fell behind early against the Cardinals. Last night they at least started to make a comeback. Tonight, they just left the car in neutral and coasted to a 6-1 loss.

Kyle Lohse had his worst outing as a Brewer tonight, allowing four runs on eleven hits over five innings, walking one and striking out three. He was pretty clearly outdueled by Cardinals rookie Shelby Miller, who allowed a single run over six innings. Miller has now pitched 13 innings against the Brewers already in 2013 and allowed just tonight's lone run.

Carlos Gomez singled in the second inning to extend his hitting streak to ten games. Aramis Ramirez also singled in the second inning and now has a ten game streak dating back to the end of 2012. They're the first Brewers to post ten game streaks this season. Ramirez, by the way, had a pair of hits in his first game action since April 5.

This series continues tomorrow when Adam Wainwright takes on Yovani Gallardo in a FOX national telecast at 3:05.
