Axford, Estrada, Gomez, Gonzalez or Segura: Who will be Brewer of the Week?

The Brewers went 1-6 this week, but let's focus on the positives.

Here are this week's BotW nominees:

John Axford appeared in four games this week and pitched four scoreless innings, working around four hits and three walks with five strikeouts. He was worth +.120 WPA.

Marco Estrada made two starts this week and pitched 14 innings, allowing five runs (a 3.21 ERA) on eleven hits with no walks and 13 strikeouts. He was worth +.125 WPA.

Carlos Gomez had nine hits this week, including two doubles and four home runs (multi-homer games on both Saturday and Monday). He hit .333/.367/.852 and was worth +.160 WPA.

Michael Gonzalez made four appearances this week and pitched three scoreless innings, allowing just one hit and no walks while striking out three. He was worth +.219 WPA.

Jean Segura had 12 hits in seven games this week, including a franchise record-tying six against the Twins on Tuesday. He hit .400/.438/.500 this week and was worth +.662 WPA.
