I'll be honest: I'm away with my wife for our anniversary and didn't see a single pitch of the Brewers' second consecutive win.
With that said, it looks like I missed a great outing from Wily Peralta. He pitched seven innings for the first time this season and allowed two runs on eight hits, walking one and striking out six. He went 1-5 in May but is now 1-0 in June.
He got some help from Logan Schafer in the second inning (one of three hits in the game), as his RBI single and Delmon Young's error brought the Brewers' first two runs home. Jean Segura's RBI triple in the fifth and Jonathan Lucroy's solo home run in the eighth added some insurance, and Francisco Rodriguez recorded the last three outs for career save #297.
Lucroy's home run was his third in two games, after hitting just three in the Brewers' first 52 contests.
This series wraps up tomorrow when Mike Fiers takes on Cliff Lee at 12:35.
